My client is a leading Developer with a strong pipeline of projects and due to their continued growth, they are seeking a Development Manager to join their team. Their head office is based in West Dublin and the role offers hybrid working.

Duties:

  • Financial analysis/appraisal of development projects
  • Managing external professional teams to deliver planning consents and design
  • Working with the project management team to prepare the project for construction;
  • Responsible for commercial inputs and profitability analysis of their projects
  • Liaising and negotiating with third parties including utility providers, Local Authority etc
  • Liaising and managing the construction partner to ensure delivery of the project.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of at least 3 years in a development or project management role within the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of the development life cycle and a demonstrated ability to lead successful project teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
