We have a very exciting exclusive new role to Azon Recruitment for a Deputy Chief Information Officer role within a fast growing multinational organisation. Headquartered in Ireland with a presence in over 40 countries with 11k employees.

Relevant candidates will be accomplished senior leaders who have managed IT teams in excess of 150 employees across multiple jurisdictions. Budgets in excess of €50m pa. Significant and regular interactions with CxOs and senior business leaders.

A seasoned change manager for complex business processes e.g. ERP, PSA. Experience in a US Listed organisation is preferable but not essential.


  • Provide leadership for planning, developing, and implementing information technology initiatives.
  • Lead the IT Function, delivering a first in class service to both employees and Company
  • Ensure that IT Strategy supports and aligns with the Company’s Business Strategy
  • Manage team of IT professionals, across various experience levels in multiple regions.
  • Establish long-term needs and plans. Develops strategies for meeting current and future business needs.
  • Oversee, manage, and approve budget for the overall IT Department
  • Collaborate with members of the Executive team to identify ways IT can assist the company in achieving business and financial goals.
  • Successfully deliver IT projects and their deliverables within agreed time-frames
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations that apply to IT.


  • 10+ years relevant experience in Senior IT Roles in a multinational company. Experience with a US listed company highly desired but not essential.
  • Relevant Degree/Qualifications
  • Experienced leader with ability to manage and motivate teams. Ideally teams of 150+
  • Strong budget management experience of more than €50m pa.
  • Experience with large and complex IT budgets
  • Demonstrated experience in major change and transformation programs
  • Demonstrated experience working with CxOs and senior business leaders
  • Experience implementing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and HR Technology. Ideally experience of Professional Services Automation (PSA).
  • Understanding of Infrastructure and Cloud technology
  • Knowledge and experience with project management, current service management techniques, and contract negotiation
