Azon are delighted to be working with Ireland’s leading media publisher to hire a Audience Editor. This organisation prides itself on delivering quality and objective news across all of its platforms, both print and digital.

This role is with a leading newspaper in Ireland. The Audience Editor will be part of the newsroom, delivering daily stories to the largest possible audience.

Please note, this role is for maternity cover only.

About the role:

  • Distribute stories to the widest possible audience across all digital platforms including company website and social media
  • Curate a compelling homepage, ensuring that eye catching top stories are always front and centre
  • Use real-time and historical data to optimise user experience
  • Manage newsletter and email marketing to improve engagement

About you:

  • You have 1+ years experience in digital media
  • Degree or qualification in media or journalism
  • Self-starter, team-player, flexible, adaptable
  • Experience in copy editing
