Accountant - PLC

Our client is a multinational manufacturing PLC with Headquarters based in Dublin. As part of continued growth, they are seeking a skilled and experienced accountant to join the team on a permanent basis. As an integral part of the finance department, the Accountant will be responsible for producing financial reports, financial analysis and working systems improvements projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Conduct financial forecasting and budgeting to support business planning and decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and tax laws.
• Identify opportunities for systems improvements to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency.
• Implement systems improvements, including software updates, automation, and work-flow enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

• ACCA/ACA/CPA Qualified
• Ideally 2 years PQE within a multinational environment or PLC
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify opportunities for improvement.

Package:

• Base salary of €75,000-€80,000k
