Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Dublin City Centre. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
    • Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.
    • Monitor and control project progress, identifying and addressing potential issues proactively
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Communicate project status, milestones, and any deviations from the plan to clients in a clear and professional manner.
    • Foster strong client relationships through effective communication and project delivery.
    • Allocate and manage project resources efficiently, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize resource utilization and ensure project success.
    • Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure the delivery of high-quality mechanical engineering solutions.
    • Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
    • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Monitor and manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
    • Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and positive working environment.
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting professional growth and development.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a strong trades background.
  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager in the construction / engineering industry, preferably on commercial projects.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Proficient in project management tools and software.
